"

Delightful Learning

"Since joining the CMEC for this first year, I finally feel confident that I can present the feast to my children well and have been able to prioritize our atmosphere over checking off boxes."

- Jamie in PA

Thoughtful Support

"The CMEC has a unique way of providing a formal, comprehensive Charlotte Mason curriculum without displacing the role of the parent-teacher ... They've given me the necessary tools and confidence to provide a beautifully rich Charlotte Mason education that is second to none. I don't know of any other curriculum that cares as deeply about the mother-teacher!"

- Casey in AZ

Ongoing Training

"The CMEC offers mothers a continued education and ongoing support that enables them to give their children the best education possible. I could not more highly recommend the CMEC!”

- Amy in MD

Get ready to plan your year with the CMEC...

A 2026-27 membership gives you access to our website until June 30, 2027 -- no matter when you sign up! That means the earlier you enroll, the longer you get access to the extensive materials in our Resources area.

Upon enrolling, you will receive a link to our Getting Started GuideThis guide walks through how to take full advantage of our resources before you start your summer planning. For example, before the 2026-27 curriculum launches in April, you can explore our self-paced courses on building a timetable and the Mason method of a lesson, webinars on narration and exams, our favorite Parents' Review articles, and other foundational preparation to help make this school year your best yet!

New members are welcome to jump into the current year's guides for composer study, artist study, handicrafts, nature study, and more! We would love to have you learning alongside us this spring.

LEARN MORE!

What we have planned for the 2026-27 School Year...

This year in our Mother's Education Course we'll discuss how to build meaningful relationships. Each month, we'll explore a new aspect of Mason's claim that "Education is the Science of Relations" -- from how our students engage with their books to how we interact with our children as parents and teachers. Our exclusive coursework combines Mason's volumes, Parents' Review articles, and suggestions for putting the principles into practice. Members can join our monthly online meeting or catch the recording. And our private Canvas classroom allows for ongoing conversation!

Leading or teaching in a local learning community, like a co-op, nature club, or TBG Group? Our Community Learning Support Group offers ongoing encouragement and training in the form of newsletters, handbooks, videos, and live meetings, all geared toward the particular joys and challenges of offering a life-giving education in group settings.

Come discuss with us best practices for the classroom, whether you are a seasoned instructor or just thinking about starting a group for now.

The members-only Fall Mini-Retreat in October will give you a shot of inspiration right as you begin your school year! We'll be discussing Mason's concept of a "reasoned patriotism" -- an approach to citizenship that develops a sense of duty and justice and prepares our students to engage in their communities.

In our discussion space, La Pianta, we'll be discussing a variety of topics to support you in lessons and life: notebooks and planners, laundry and meal plans, methods like narration and dictation, and much more!

From Our Members...

Joyful and Beautiful

"The CMEC is for the thinking mom -- the mom who wants to enjoy the journey of self-education alongside her children, not simply 'homeschool' them. I love that it's a place where there is freedom to think deeply and not just do a thing because some curriculum writer said it was to be done -- that the community and the programs are aimed at equipping children to do the work of learning and building up their minds themselves. It is a place that feels serious, in the sense of intellectually important - we are encountering the really human things together as we study God, His people, and His creation -- but also joyful and beautiful."

- Sarah

Support for the Whole Family

"The CMEC provides a seat for everyone at the table. Whether it is your first year as a home educator or you have a high school student, there is always someone who can learn from your experiences and that you can learn from. We have been a Charlotte Mason family since my oldest began school.  But only in the years we have been members of the CMEC community have I felt like a true educator. The humble and gentle way this community has been created and fostered has influenced much more than the books on our table -- but our whole family atmosphere."

- Allison

A Full Feast

"Absolutely every single offering from the CMEC has fed my own soul as a mother-teacher to my children. This entire space and all the people behind it are so incredibly life-giving, and the CMEC has helped me to bring the fullness of the feast to my children every day. The inspiration that I have been given through the ideas this team has put me in touch with has been immense; the support they have given me along the way feels unceasing. I truly cannot thank them enough."

- Amanda
